"Okay here's the statement Kanemura made to the media today as reported by KAKUTOLOG taken from the Kamipro mobile site (and translated):
http://kakutolog.cocolog-nifty.com/kakuto/.../post_e88b.html
Kintaro Kanemura:
"I'm sorry for having caused such a disturbance. I apologize for having started by my acts the problem to Big Japan, all Apache members, and you the fans of the professional wrestling community. Number one, I wish above all to apologize from the bottom of my heart to the woman who was damaged by the act. I'm sorry. I want to extensively accept responsibility and to apologize from the bottom of my heart."
"I will exercise self-control in active participation of professional wrestling until this problem solves itself. All my matches in all organizations are cancelled."
"Although there is no telling whether I can meet my victim in the future, I want to apologize, no matter what form it may be."
"Even if it becomes that there is a formal criminal accusation, I will accept it obediently."
"Trouble has also been made for ring announcer Murakami. I hope to see him continue to enter the ring to do his job."
Kuroda also was there and added:
"About this thing, Kanamura has admitted that it is 100% bad. I want to apologize also as an Apache member. I think that this form of self-discipline is a natural reaction."
There's also an official apology on the Apache Pro website http://apache.ne07.jp/vm/news-data__2703.html
"Regarding the trouble with Kintaro Kanemura caused lately, I apologize deeply to the woman victim, you, the fan, or you, the persons concerned."
"It is indefinite suspension/disposal of Kintaro Kanemura as a member of the Apache professional wrestling army. I exercise activity of Apache professional wrestling army self-control at the last performance on February 22 for the time being."
"The Shin-kiba 1stRING event scheduled for March 7 is called off. Those who already purchased the ticket will recieve a refund. Moreover, we'll pay back also at the Shin-kiba 1st RING convention hall on February 22."
"I apologize in piles for having caused great displeasure."
"- The Apache professional wrestling army, the wrestlers, the staff and all the persons concerned."
Apparently after Kanemura molested her and said "vile" things to her, all in front of several wrestlers who did nothing, she went and complained to Tosaka. Tosaka basically gave her the old - "Welcome to pro wrestling, get used to it" line.
When she threatened to go public Tosaka warned her not to, saying "everybody loses" if she did and they "cannot work together if she has such an attitude." That's why he was involved since when she complained he tried to dismiss and squash it rather than address it.
She got even more pissed and told Ken Murakami who went public on his blog. Then she put it on the e-mail newsletter etc.
Apparently BJW fans, who are very loyal die-hards are reacting how you'd expect. Many are very very pissed off about the whole thing. I noticed some of the comments are aimed at Takashi Sasaki for "siding" with Kanemura what with the whole Apache Army closing and perhaps he's gone from BJW too?
The scandal also getting mainstream sports coverage."

"Just watched this week's episode of indy no oshigoto. They air the full BJW press conference followed by at least 20 pages of text. They scroll the entire BJ mailing list release, then go through a day by day account of the events going all the way back to early february. Then a full analysis by the co-host whose name I can't recall, braking character to appear onscreen for the first time. Essentially a send off. Almost an hour of coverage, way too much to translate. No closer, no clips. Just in case anybody still thought this was just some minor thing. It's all over main stream news, too:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=vKttAn1z2AQ
The Japanese wiki implies that Kanemura is basically retired as a consequence of the victim seeking damages against him, but I haven't seen this attributed to other sources. BAHU and Lenny will have to keep holding out hope for their hero, I guess."
Source: substancej from DVDR
Apache Pro closed down after the 2/22 show because of the Kanemura scandal:
"After the show, Kuroda thanked the fans and officialy closed the promotion, because of the Kanemura scandal. Kanemura also announced his complete retirement from the wrestling business from now on. BJW will also probably suffer from the consequences because of the way the office handled the situation. Eiji Tosaka, the unofficial chairman of BJW has already been fired and some die hard Fans of the promotion will stop supporting the promotion."

02/19/2008 News
"Takashi Sasaki stated on Samurai TV S-Arena today that Apache Army is done after 2/22 show. Apache's Kintaro Kanemura sexually harassed a BJW staff at 1/20 BJW show. BJW tried to conceal this first and fired their ring announcer who was trying to disclose everything in his blog for her, which pissed off the staff. She sent a mail to all of the official BJW newsletter readers and spoke out how BJW was trying to hide the fact in the newsletter. BJW finally adimited the incident today and finally announced BJW will not book Kintaro Kanemura for an indefinite time. It looks that Kanemura's career is over and BJW lost faith from many loyal fans over this."
